-- "Excelsior per Excellentiam"
Strategy Code Name: "AQ 1, BG 1, 2 ONLY!"
TLDR: AFTER the AQ has begun, Start BG2 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IF you are a weaker player (champs less than 1400pi) always join the BG with the least number of players! If you are a stronger player (champs more than 1400pi) you MUST Spectate first and join the BG with the least number of Strong players! DO NOT Start/Join BG3 untill you see authorization posted here or else you will be temp demoted (possibly temp kicked). We will not be playing BG3 at this time, for now ONLY BG1 & BG2 !!!
Right now kabam is running a special trial during the current AQ (Event). AQ players generate twice the normal amount of AQ energy for map movement. This makes this week the PERFECT opportunity to practice winning multiple Battle Groups in the same AQ !
The main key to running multiple BGs is to make sure you fill them EVENLY and BALANCED !
Here is how this strategy works:
STEP 1: The first FOUR players MUST join BG# 1. Take the SIDE paths ONLY.
STEP 2: The next FOUR players (this will be players No.5-8 overall in the AQ) MUST join BG# 2. Take the SIDE paths ONLY.
STEP 3: The next ONE player (this will be player No.9 overall) to join AQ MUST join BG# 1 and take the CENTER path ONLY.
STEP 4: The next ONE player (this will be player No.10 overall) to join AQ MUST join BG# 2 and take the CENTER path ONLY.
STEP 5: After that each player who joins AQ should alternate which BG they join.
EXAMPLE: The 11th player to join AQ should join BG# 2. The next player, player twelve, should join BG# 1. The next player joins BG# 1, the next player BG# 2, and so on.
WARNING: Do NOT join BG#3 ! If we find that it is too easy with BG1 and BG2 we will adjust. But do NOT go it alone! wait for official change here on website. If anyone starts BG#3 they will recieve a temp ban for the remainder of the current AQ Event (not just the current AQ Quest, but the entire AQ EVENT!BUILD EVENLY: After the first ten players join AQ, if you are not sure which AQ to join, always join the one with fewer players. If BG1 and BG2 have the same number of players, join either one.
BUILD BALANCED: Our strongest players need to be split up in a balanced way. There should be no more than two of our strongest players in each BG to start with. After both BG have two strong players, the remaining strong players may join either BG they want.
EXAMPLE: If there are only two players in BG1, and they both have champs with over 1400pi, and you also have champs over 1400pi, then you may NOT join BG1. You MUST wait till there are at least 3 players in BG1 and then the game will let you join BG2. IF the first four players to join are all very strong (over 1400pi) then two of them will have to WAIT till a weaker player joins BG1 and then the other two strong players can start BG2. After that we can return to the normal method of filling slots.
Do NOT start BG# 2 if there is less than 12 hours left on the AQ clock ! This is also subject to change, but for now there must be 12 hours remaininhg in order for BG# 2 to be an authorized AQ Start.
When you have read and understood this Special Strategy send Ace an in-game friend text that says " *AQ1, BG1 & BG2 ONLY! "
Minimum requirements for AQ#1 are a three champ team with a minimum of 450pi each.
At least two players need to bring at least one champ each with a minimum of 750pi. These two players, each with one strong champ, help make sure that the Battle Group will be able to defeat the mini-boss and final-boss.
Always "Spectate" before you Join an AQ.
Use Spectate to study the AQ map and chat with other AQ players.
Use Spectate to determine which path and champs you should bring when you join.
Post your actions (including your initial path and champ selections) in AQ chat before you make them so that you do not overlap with actions that other players were about to take.
Do NOT join AQ and then abandon it by just sitting there and not taking your appropriate moves in a timely manner. If an emergency comes up ad you have to leave, that’s okay. Please post a message in AQ chat to let us know so that we are not waiting for you to return. Do not join an AQ if you already knew ahead of time that you would not be able to finish.
Do NOT join AQ and then rush ahead and lose mass HP or get K.O. because you did not wait for Linked Nodes to be taken out. If you do not understand how Linked Nodes work - Ask for help!
Each AQ (Quest) lasts for 24 in which you must defeat the final boss in order to gain Prestige Rating points instead of losing them. It is not necessary to complete the entire map in order to gain (prevent losing) Prestige Rating points.
The more map exploration you complete, the more Reward Poits you will earn. Prestige Rating effects the Rate at which you earn Reward Points for everything you do.
There is a countdown timer that shows how much of the 24 hrs remains for the current AQ (Quest), therefor when we talk about "Time" in AQ we refer to how much time is left so that what we are saying matches up with the clock that is displayed.
If we say we are at the "18hr mark", that means there is 18 hrs left on the clock. If we say we need to defeat the mini-boss by the time we get to the "12 hr mark", that means we want the mini-boss defeated while the clock is still showing 12 hrs or more remaining.
Here is a map of AQ#1 showing how you can think of it as being devided into different "Floors" with outside and inside track "Loops":

Minimum requirments for AQ#1 are a three champ team with a minimum of 450pi each.
In AQ mode the game design of each AQ (Quest) includes up to three seperate copies of the current Quest Map. Each of these copies, or instances, of the Quest Map has a max limit of 10 players. Each instance along with its corosponding roster is called a Battle Group.
When you join a BG you also join the AQ. The game does not allow you to join another BG in the same AQ. When your team defeats the Final Boss of your BG the game will "release" your champs so they can be used in most other quests, but you as a player are still considered to be already in the AQ so you can NOT join another BG.
The maximum number of players in an Alliance is 30. In theory having 3 BGs with 10 players each means that each AQ (Quest) has 1 slot reserved...
